For 84 years, the Weston Scout House has had the mission to serve the Weston Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts by providing a home for their scouting activities. This past year has been full of overnights, camp fires & s’mores, first aid training, camping skills sessions, and community service projects.
As the Scout House is entering its 84th year, the trustees have been developing a plan to address deferred maintenance.
Last year, we were fortunate enough to have had a roof donated to the house by O’Lyn Roofing, but we now have a driveway that needs to be redone, a septic system to overhaul, regrading that needs to be undertaken, and siding that needs to be addressed.
Every year, we seek donations to support the house, and we are so thankful to everyone in the community who comes together to assist us with this this beloved building. This year, we are asking you to donate a gift that is significant to reach our goal of $75,000 to cover the capital projects that will ensure the Scout House is here for generations to come.
Our dedicated Board of Trustees always welcomes your input, along with your support, so please feel free to contact any of us and let us know what your thoughts are concerning our very special
Scout House. In 2026 the Scout House will celebrate its 85th year in service to our Weston Scouts; they are young citizens who develop leadership skills and offer community service that our town
continues to benefit from. We would love to have all these projects finished or underway before our anniversary.
Your donation makes a difference here at the Weston Scout House!
